The Karolinska Institutet Postdoc Association (KIPA) is a member-driven organisation committed to improving working conditions for all PostDocs at KI. KIPA was founded in 2012, and was the first of its kind in Sweden. With the mission of improving the working and living conditions and providing networking opportunities for the members of the postdoctoral community at KI, KI becomes a more attractive place for postdoctoral research.

KIPA assists with issues and queries that arise while working as a postdoc at KI or when planning to join KI as a postdoc. Involved in all aspects of postdoc life at KI, KIPA’s projects include the KI annual postdoc survey, social events, career development workshops, and advocacy events on labour rights, immigration rules, and diversity in science.
